How much does it cost to receive care at Fellowship Health Clinic? All services provided at Fellowship Health Clinic are free of charge.
If a referral is needed to a specialist, clinic staff will try to find a physician willing to provide low- or no-cost assistance.
Who provides the medical care? Community physicians, nurses and medical lab technicians volunteer their time to provide care for Fellowship Health Clinic patients. Current volunteer physicians are family practice, internal medicine, and emergency room doctors.
FHC is deeply indebted to the members of the Forrest General Family Medicine Residency Program who staff the clinic one day per week.
Medical students from the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine may work alongside physicians who are approved preceptors for the medical school.
Students from the University of Southern Mississippi College of Nursing and the Pearl River Community College Medical Lab Tech program assist in the clinic under direct supervision of their instructors.
What if I need a follow-up visit? After your first visit, our physicians may ask you to make an appointment for the future so they can check your health progress. There is no charge for follow-up visits at Fellowship Health Clinic.
What if I need a lab test? Fellowship Health Clinic has a lab that can perform most routine medical tests. These tests are performed at no charge to the patient. If you require a more specialized test that must be done at another facility, our staff will try to find a provider who will perform the test at no cost or at a reduced rate and/or offer you a payment plan with their facility.
